When people ask for the advice on Singapore they usually only have a couple of days to kill between flights, so here is the itinerary of 2 days in Singapore which takes in the famous tourist sites and some of the hidden gems that is must to discover on Singapore tour.
Singapore is now the home of most of the modern machines and places all over the world. It is also the home of impressive architecture, historical sites and peaceful nature environment. If you have less time to explore Singapore, the best idea is to book a hippo bus ticket with 1 night 2 days package. The open bus is the perfect option and also it will only cost you $33, less than other local buses. Double Decker buses also give you the best view of the city and you’ll also get the information about its background. Another best thing about the hippo bus is the ticket which can be used for 24 hours. The bus stops at almost every tourist attraction of Singapore in the inner city, here are some of the places recommended.
Chinatown/Little India/Kampong Glam
Know about the unique cultural history by visiting all of these places. The best among all is Kampong Glam and the food is delicious. Haji Lane shows other side of the city where you’ll see the graffiti.
Same like the London Eye but bigger than that, apparently the Singapore Flyer is the tallest wheel in the world and the views from the top are pretty amazing.
Sentosa Island is built for tourists and you could easily spend a couple of days there. It is best to explore if you are for 2 days in Singapore. Universal Studio is good (although quite small) and the beaches are pretty decent simulations of actual tropical paradises (they shipped their sand in from Indonesia apparently). This is also a good place to go at night as there are some really good beachside restaurants and bars.
The Singapore Night Safari
If you’re not too exhausted from sightseeing you should go to the night safari, it’s a really unique experience and the favourite among tourists in Singapore. You can get a free bus ride there if you have a Singapore Sightseeing bus ticket, which saves a lot of hassle (or money), as it is located well out of the city. If you have more time, it is recommended to explore zoo as well, and if you love wildlife, head towards Jurong Bird Park and the River Safari.
Overnight stay in the hotel.
This is probably the weirdest tourist attraction, possibly the weirdest in the world but you should definitely check it out with 1 night 2 days package. It was built by 2 Burmese brothers to celebrate Buddhism, and you’ll not only find statues of torture in the “12 Courts of Hell” but you’ll also see one of a woman breastfeeding an older woman while 1 kid does sit ups and another peels an orange. It’s weird!
