This is the most recently built Buddhist temple in singapore. It is a five story temple which was built by the chinese during the Tang Dynasty. This temple is dedicated to the most important lord of Buddhism, that is, lord Buddha.
→ kong Meng San Phor Kark See Monastery:
It is situated in Bishan and one of the Singapore’s best kept secrets. This is the largest Buddhist temple in Singapore. One of the most prominent places in this temple is the Bodhi tree. This tree is believed to be brought from Sri Lanka and this is the tree where lord Buddha is said to have achieved enlightenment.
→ Sultan Masjid:
It is situated in the beautiful area of Kampong Glam and has a glowing golden tomb on it. It was built by Sultan Hussain Shah and has one of the most beautiful architectures.
→ Thian Hock Keng Temple:
This temple is known as Temple of heavenly happiness. It is considered to be the most important Taoist Temple which is dedicated to Ma Zu, known as the goddess of sea.
