The best thing about the place is its location itself. As the primary hub of Southeast Asia, Singapore is the perfect starting getaway for day trips to other neighboring countries. Here’s what you can do on one day tour to Singapore.
Detailed Itinerary Day Wise
Day 1 : City Tour
Morning
Early in the morning, enjoy breakfast with the locals at Tiong Bahru, a 1930s housing estate reveling in its unofficial status as the hippest ‘hood in Singapore. Nab a seat on the 2nd floor of the Centre and order a typical breakfast: soy sauce with white pepper on eggs and a smear of kaya (coconut egg jam) on toast, with a traditional kopi (coffee). If you feel like having the western breakfast, head towards 40 Hands; the legendary coffee and breakfast of the place will fill you up. Once done, explore the markets of the region where shop ‘uncles’ and ‘aunties’ sell array of tropical fruits, meats and famous Singapore orchids.
Sightseeing at Marina Bay
Marina Bay is a bay located in the Central Area of Singapore surrounded by the perimeter of four other planning areas, the Downtown Core, Marina East, Marina South and Straits View. The area surrounding the bay itself, also called Marina Bay, is a 360 hectare extension to the adjacent Central Business District. Enjoy sightseeing at the Bay on your one day tour to Singapore.
Evening
After sunset, head towards the rooftop bar and enjoy the lights of Singapore. For a bird’s-eye-view, perch on the balcony at CÉ LA VI, housed on the top of the famous Marina Bay Sands Hotel or go to Lantern at the Fullerton Bay Hotel for a front-row seat to the Spectra light-and-water show.
Stay in a Hotel
